We were so sorry to hear that the wonderful band TBC will be performing their final concert in April. The girls have been great friends to all of us here at Kids' Church and we will be thinking of and praying for the band as they look to see what God has planned for each of them.

A big thank you to TBC for everything you have done for the children in Marple. xxxx

All Saints' Church rocked to the music of TBC last night. We had a great time with the band; their music is wonderful, their dancing is stunning and their message is life changing.

Rachel spoke about the need to respond to God as he holds out his hand to you, 101 children said "Yes" to God.

Mothering Sunday

Today is Mothering Sunday. We spent our time this morning in a "Worshipping Together" service where we heard that our words can be used to build up, stir up and cheer up. The Bible, in 1 Corinthians 14, tells us that we should ask for the gift of prophecy. We should ask that God will use our words to help others in the Church.

Just as mothers speak encouraging and comforting words to their children God speaks words of encouragement and comfort to us.

Listening to God

We are currently learning about the ways God speaks to us. The way He communicates and lets us know His thoughts. At last week's Kids' Church we spent time quietly listening as He spoke. Some of the children within Kids'Church shared what He said to them with the group.

One young lady spoke of a picture of a long queue of people. She was at the very end waiting in line. She then heard God remind her that there was plenty of room for her in His house.

Another child saw a picture of dried, withered leaves. As she watched it became dark and then the morning came. As it grew lighter she could see that the life had returned to the leaves.

It is good to know God loves each one of us and that He wants to speak to us.

It's a New Year

We all had a great time at Christmas celebrating the birth of Jesus. We had lots of friends from many of the schools around Marple visiting the church. It was wonderful to be able to welcome them all and to enjoy their Christmas Celebrations and Carol Concerts.
We see new people coming to Kids' Church nearly every week, it's fantatstic to be able to laugh and joke and play games as well as talk about what Jesus is doing in all of our lives.
Why don't you come along and see how much fun you can have at Kids' Church.
