Jean and Roger Tripp
We were delighted to be visited by Jean and Roger Tripp at Kids' Church yesterday. Jean and Roger are working at a Care Centre in Uganda. The children of Kids' Church support the work of the Care Centre through pray and money. Jean and Roger were presented with a cheque to buy benches to help the Ugandan children. We hope to create stronger links with the children in Uganda.

Looking back
We had a great time at Easter. On Easter Sunday we all met together with the grown-ups and learned about the way Jesus always betters our expectations. We heard the story of Mary who went to the garden to visit the tomb of Jesus. On that very first Easter Sunday she woke up full of sadness, sorry and confusion. But then she met with Jesus and having met the risen Christ, she left the garden full of joy, hope and purpose.

The big question is what do we do when our lives seem to be full of sadness and confusion. The Bible tells us that Jesus is there for us, just as He was for Mary.

Listening to God
The children at Kids' Church have had several words and pictures from Jesus over the last few weeks. Here are a selection of those special words and pictures.

Jesus says "I am your protector, your Lord and your friend".

Jesus says "I will always be with you".

Jesus was pictured sitting aside an overflowing well.

Jesus was seen coming out of a fountain of water.

Jesus says "Children are always welcome in God's arms".

God is awesome and yet He loves to spend time listening and speaking to each one of us.
